Landscapes - Watermedia

I don’t often paint with watercolors or gouache here in the East Bay. Yet there are times when I manage to get all my supplies and spend the time that watermedia requires en plein air. Places “where natural beauty coexists with industrial development,” is what I seek. I go out with a couple of friends who like the same type of places I do, typically spending 2.5 to 3 hrs in the field. I try to complete them outdoors for fear of overworking them in the studio.
